What are your ideas for the future of Deltona?

Deltona is updating its comprehensive plan, the community’s long-range master plan that guides how the City will grow and develop over the next 25 years. This update is an opportunity to reflect community priorities, identify future needs, and ensure Deltona continues to grow in a coordinated and sustainable way. Your input is essential, and the City invites you to participate through both in-person and online engagement opportunities.

There are two primary ways to learn about the project and provide your input:

  • Attend the Public Workshop series. The City is hosting a five-part public workshop series in which the project team will seek your ideas, perspectives, and direction about a host of topics related to the comprehensive plan update.
  • Provide your input in the activities below. Can't make a workshop? No problem. The public engagement activities below aim to replicate the spirit of the activities at each event.

Online activities for Chapter 2 are now open, and will close on Friday, February 27, 2026. Use the two sets of activities below to provide us feedback on transportation, parks, and conservation. Activities from Chapter 1 are still open for public input, and are located at the bottom of the page.

This website is a dynamic hub for online engagement, not just a one-time survey. Check back often for new activities linked to public workshops. When new activities launch, submissions for existing ones will close, but you can still view responses. The activities above for Chapter 2 (Community Connections) will close on Friday, February 27, 2026.

New online activities related to Chapter 3 (Community Assets) will be available for public input in early March.
